Help Capitol 5 Stay Alive!

Capitol 5 has been under new management since May 26, 2006. It is our goal to make your movie going experiences as pleasant and economical as possible and make numerous improvements over the next couple of years, including better and more comfortable seats. To accomplish this, we need to count on your support. Most people aren't aware that first run movie theaters only get an average of $1.00 per ticket of your admission. The remainder of your admission goes to the the films distributor (ie Warner Brothers or Disney.) The only way theaters can survive, is by making sales at the concession stand. We appeal to you to keep this in mind the next time you attend. If you dine before coming, please consider skipping dessert to save room for some popcorn or a soda. We currently offer some of the lowest snack bar prices anywhere and we know of no other theater that allows self serve soft drinks with unlimited free refills. We have lowered our admission prices as much as possible to entice you to splurge a little at our snack bar. Your support will be greatly appreciated.
